Social sustainability

We are proud to be able to offer Scandinavia’s largest platform for brands that reach out and engage people in places where they live, travel and move on a daily basis. But we are not content with that. With great opportunities to reach out, we also have a great responsibility to make a difference, and we therefore have a clear vision that our presence should contribute to livelier, more enjoyable and sustainable cities and airports.

Since 2021 Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

We are convinced that inclusion and diversity are crucial issues for livelier, more enjoyable and sustainable cities and airports. We choose to enter into partnerships and initiatives where we can contribute to people feeling safe, involved and included in the society and allow socially important messages to be prominently displayed on our platform.

You find most of our partnerships within the following areas:

  • We use our platform to reach and help people living in homelessness and vulnerability who may be hard to reach with vital information.
  • The outdoor media is effective in reaching and engaging young target groups, we choose to use this in the several initiatives that concern and affect young people.
  • Equal rights and the right to take a place in public space are two of our core issues and we collaborate with organizations that share that commitment in Sweden, Scandinavia and around Europe.

Purple Flag

Our infrastructure contributes to security in the city through protection from the elements as well as illuminated areas in the dark. At the same time, our platform provides an opportunity to spread messages about safety and security to the residents of the city.
