Albert Watson, Lennart Nilsson, Mandy Barker, Andres Serrano and Anton Corbijn. For two weeks, the Stockholmers were able to experience the works of fifty of the world’s leading photographers in the Open Air Exhibition – on our signs around Stockholm. Due to covid-19 many museums had to close down during the spring 2020, which left the Stockholmers with no art or culture to explore. The Open Air Exhibition created a solution to this issue.
Through this link, Stockholmers were able to access routes for art walks using a simple map on their mobile phone, which was accessed via a QR code on the actual artworks. The map showed the locations of the artwork together with the address and information about the photographer in question. Information about the exhibition was also displayed on our digital screens.
A walk around the entire exhibition was about 15 kilometers long.
